What is specific to this document
- A photo you already have for another Ireland document may not work here. This one takes light grey or off-white or plain white, while the visa photo takes plain white or light grey. The background has to be right in the shot — it cannot be swapped afterwards.
- The authority sets a maximum file size but does not publish a pixel size, so the dimensions are your decision. Compress from a full-resolution photo rather than shrinking the picture until it fits.
Checked against the issuing authority’s own published material. Requirements change without notice — confirm before you submit.
