What is specific to this document
- A photo you already have for another India document may not work here. This one takes plain white or light grey, while the passport photo takes plain white. The background has to be right in the shot — it cannot be swapped afterwards.
- India does not use the same photo size for every document. This one is 51×51 mm, but the passport photo is 35×45 mm, so a print made for that one will be rejected here.
- At 300 KB the upload limit is the most generous of the 3 India documents we cover — a file prepared for one of the others will fit.
